What is a Subclass 476 visa?
It’s also known as the Skilled-Recognised Graduate visa. This visa allows recent engineering graduates to live, work or study in Australia for up to 18 months.
You must have completed a degree or higher qualification from a specified institution within the past 2 years, and be under 31 years of age.

The requirements of a Subclass 476 visa
Before starting your visa application, make sure you’ve met all of these requirements.
Age | Must be under 31 years old. |
Education | Must have completed a degree or higher qualification in engineering from the specified educational institution in the past 2 years. |
Health and character | Must meet the health and character requirements of the Australian Government. |
Visa background | Must not have a visa cancelled or an application refused. Must not owe Australian Government. |
Where to lodge for a visa | Onshore or offshore. If applicants choose to apply onshore, they won’t be granted a bridging visa to stay in Australia during the processing time of a Subclass 476 visa. |
